When i raised my hand to grab their attention
They gave me a blind eye
When i cried out for help
They offer me a deaf ear
When i tried to converse
them
They switched mute
When i asked for a second of their time
They turned busy
When i drowned in an ocean of misery
They threw me no life jacket
Instead they prayed and
fasted for my death
Now that i no longer breath
They swarm my house like bees to a hive
Wearing plastic sad faces
Shedding crocodile tears
Showering by wife with
empty condolences
My soul stings
For their pretence rests it in no peace
