Nothing You Know Poem by Neela Nath Das

Nothing You Know

Rating: 3.9

Nothing you know,
To love or to hate
Or to caress, or
To throw in the river of oblivion..
Nothing!
The micro heaven's nectar,
You failed to taste.
For you know no Paradiso
Awaiting us on our pathway...
The bit of bliss
Will fade away with the
Blinking of eyes.
No, your seventh heaven's
Reverie won't stumble
If you stoop to pick
The dew dropp wrapped grass
Of this simple Heaven!
The leaden day from
The account of eternity
Would not have fallen
As an angel's tear.
If you had cared
To stoop the day from
The weary blind lane!
