She said
nothing.

She continued
saying nothing.

The street was empty
except for a cat.

And another cat.

She looked at the moon
looking at her.

It looked almost theatrical

as if someone
had hung it there

for the second act
of the play.

The street was empty
even of cats.


Even her tears
were silent.

Creates great atmosphere. You can truly feel the emptiness. Bravo! Even her tears were silent. What a line! ! !
