Nothing Remains The Same Poem by Suelynn Walters

Nothing Remains The Same

Jasmine scented room green curtains
The window that overlooks much memory
Sounds of singing birds high in the trees
Watching down on what once use to be
Nothing Remains The Same
The little girl with golden pigtails and smile
A lonely swing still sits there worn down
Grass so green growing wild and high
All those years ago of laughter and frowns
Nothing Remains The Same
