Nothing Permanent Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Nothing Permanent

Rating: 4.7

You find nothing permanent
Disappearance sudden after moment
Will be called dead if no movement?
Life standstill with no comment

Leaves start falling in season
Make the way for some reason
New and fresh branches start to boom
Flowers all over and no more gloom

It is natural law and complete cycle
Nothing stays as matter of miracle
Life all over even in small particles
Tiny cells and smallest molecules

Any living things will have to go
Staying here may have to forgo
It is simple way of changing style
Season after season may change for while

Person should change so also habits
Credits should be more than the debits
Neither to stick nor to be habitual
Allow it to go simple as casual

Change is welcome for all the reasons
It may vary from person to persons
Some may like old and not to change
Some may opt for new and ready to exchange

Adapting to change is welcome sign
Nature may force you to accept and resign
Initial resistance is bound to occur
After some hesitation you got to concur

Change is natural and continuous process
Any body can have reason and access
Must think deeply and accept the change
Reconcile to self and set to arrange

Nothing is permanent as you say in the poem. There is a saying 'Nothing is lost when a candle is burnt.' Because, there is a chemical change and it goes back to its elements. Everything comes from the the elements and goes back to the elements. A nice poem and very impressive one.
