Nothing I Write/ Dreams Me As I Dream Myself Poem by Shalom Freedman

Nothing I Write/ Dreams Me As I Dream Myself

NOTHING I WRITE / DREAMS ME AS I DREAM MYSELF

Nothing I write
Dreams me as I dream myself
Smaller than small small
Is man’s place in the universe
Smaller than small small small
Is my no place in the nowhere
Of forever nothingness
Kindness is all
But who can be kind for long
When all is dying dying dying
Small small small is all
And I have already gone home to nothingness
Forever silent as small which never was.
