Nothing Poem by tristan loveday

Nothing

Rating: 0.5

I hate you, can't put it into words
You're the worst, God, I'm cursed,
You're a distraction to my life,
You're the nightmare that I'm trying to hide from

They say your sweet as apple pie,
They say I'm lucky to have you
But they don't see the beast inside of you,
They don't see what I see; they don't know that I'm living in hell

The fake mask that you have glued on to
Your face, I guess it breaks whenever we're alone,
You expectations are high but how can I
Fulfil them, if you don't give a chance to show
You who I really am

I'm just a human not ‘miss perfect' or will
I be an example of it, you just need to learn
To accept that, instead of telling me that I'm nothing
