Not Yet Told Poem by Abekah Emmanuel

Not Yet Told

Rating: 4.5

It is not yet told,
It is not yet exposed,
Nor revealed to any mortal,
that story behind these smiles
And that secret which has swept all my tears away.

When i flashback my memory,
And look back into my past,
I see nothing but pains, fears and sorrow,
How I lost people I trusted,
How I slept under roofless cage,
How I worked a whole day without pay,
Nor anything like cake,
And above all,
How I left some dreams unfulfilled.

Now I look into the my future
As brave as a lion,
My fears are no more,
My pains are healed,
And my sorrow, like my old infant toy,
Has now become a thing of the past,

And as i sit here now, like an infant,

It is not yet told,
It is not yet exposed,
Nor revealed to any mortal,
that story behind these smiles
And that secret which has swept all my tears away.

A very motivating poem indeed! But, you haven't revealed what has not been told? I would like to know that.
