Not The Only One..... Poem by Soumita Sarkar

Not The Only One.....

A grief sodden cloud solemnly
recovered a path out of a forest
with trees as tall as misery
panting along a stretch of land
spotted with distorted rotten greenery
falling midway some dried leaves
hurdle close - the moss bed flowery.

Morbid leaves are torn, wet and parched
with anger they never bond or ally
parasitic moss bed paranoid and paralyzed
concealing prickle of primal malady.

Come close to a dense dark corner
Ah! Struck immobile by a raw malignity
How agony transformed as choking creeper?
A strong wall suffering aside terribly.

Conscious search of the shocked cloud stops
In rocky world with comparative tragedy
Settling the war between reason and reality
The agitated soul embraces the firm fate finally
Each stone strikes hard but falls ultimately
Every grain gets an edge of destiny
Harsh hurricane blows despair uniformly
No cloud biased alone in this territory.
