Not So Easy Poem by Arjun K Das

Once upon a time on a
Hurricane blowing night
Right at half past 1’O clock
I got a call from someone

Attending that call was
A misery hooking up inside
My heart beating rose up to limit
Max beats, I heard that clearly

Then suddenly your arms
Fell upon my shoulders
And I was like an iceman then
I turned and then I was normal

The reason was nothing
But more than a nightmare
It can’t be explained
Because it’s not so easy as you think
