Not At All Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Not At All

Not at all

Don't tell me she is dumb
Not at all
She' is too clever and smart

I stand, key in hand and in lock
She smells
Goes around to all sides, up and down

In blink, has vanished, she is gone
Devilled eyes
In handle of the bin, 'for truck'

'Come and catch' she sneaks.
But in fact
Going round is play; is her job

Finally magician takes steps
On metal
She's Queen and climbed throne

She'll enter for the food in trash
How smart
Squirrel, shiny eyes, tail fluffed

Don't tell me she is dumb
Not at all
