When we young
But not anymore
I needed you like
A rose needs water

I wanted you
And nothing else
But not anymore
I protected you
Like a mother protects her pups
But not anymore
You hurt me
And I’m licking my wounds
And now you want me back
No, no longer
Will I play your games
No longer
Will I be hurt
No longer
Will I be used
I will live my own life
No longer under anyone’s control
