The sky was ashy and solemn
Watched the purple-brown wild geese who in herringbone flying echelon
Streamed slowly southward
Failed to keep the flying geese
Kept the quack of the geese sound constantly
Like a barrage
Bombarded reeds at depth
Billowed up
Circles of autumn shadow
Filled with
Thin pieces of coolness

Autumn wind was skilfully playing
Towering silver poplar
The theme of autumn immediately
Melodious filled
For a long time ever

Winter cicada with fear
Hung its voice to sing out
The last section
Of dumb notes
Closed in sensible
Its veined wings
And quietly secluded in
The sparse leaves shadow of old Chinese scholar tree

Open vast wilderness
Sunset afterglow oblique
And elongated my struggling silhouette
My runaway thought flied with its hoofs intensely
Climbed over thousands of miles of mountains as over a wall
In a moment reached
My hometown that I had dreamt day and night
My tired heart ah
Instantly melted in the thick of nostalgia

天空灰沉肃穆
目送紫褐色人字雁行
络绎缓缓向南
留不住的雁行
留住嘎嘎雁声不断
连珠炮似
轰击芦苇纵深处
潋滟起
圈圈秋影
洋溢着
丝丝凉意

秋风娴熟弹奏
兀立的银白杨
秋的主旋律旋即
悠扬缭绕
久久不息

寒蝉战战兢兢
吊嗓子唱出
最末一节
喑哑的音符
识趣地合上
叶脉状翅膀
悄悄蛰居
叶影稀疏的老槐树

原野空旷苍茫
夕阳的余晖斜斜
拉长我举步维艰的身影
脱缰的思绪撒蹄奋飞
千里山峦如逾墙垣
霎时间抵达
梦魂萦绕的故乡
我疲惫的心啊
顷刻消融在浓浓的乡情里
