Normal Poem by Robert R. Railey

Normal

Normal

For once in my life I would prefer not to be deemed so damned predictable; and instead, I would much rather be considered as being a little abnormal
Is that really too much to ask, I wonder?
And this one case in point seems to be particularly important nowadays and especially since that normal people seem to be in the minority
Fools are everywhere, we think, so why should we strive to be different?
Nonetheless, the real acid test will come when we're asked to define the amount time that we have spent on this earth; and oh by the way, what will they be saying at your funeral?
