Nor Reasons Rhyme Poem by saadat tahir

Nor Reasons Rhyme

Rating: 5.0

Away to strings, where passions swing.
Know no sense nor reason’s rhyme.
Aloft ye come bring forth thy wings
to free me rise and sing to chimes.
Swirl in mists, unspoken dreams.
Float thy smiles and tresses shine.
With quivering lips and twinkling eyes.
Quench and drench in eternal wine.
Let promises spring to trembling cords,
to dwell in realms, to dance and dine.
blow kiss to bliss and today to time.
knew no lord nor king or queen.
not weighed in gold nor nickel dime.
soar away to dizzying heights
death or doubt nor pain can climb.
Self and soul with purest mind
I’v wowed my heart an hand in thine.

If this is from...vintage files....may i call it a bacchanalian frenzy? ? ? or a desire to fly into the realm of oblivion...away from the fever n fret of here n now? ? ? madam anonymous is so much right here in ranking the piece among those wordsworthian classics which he produced at the period of his Prelude...it's a welcome offer to dissolve, to forget n to fade far away.......to soar away to dizzying heights...my favorite poem in this collection...

A very well reasoned rhyme. Beauty in form, and beauty in function. Though I kind of anachronistic. Belongs to Wordsworth of the Lake Poet fame. Intriguing and dazzling. Difficult to fully grasp by an impatient modern mind, but for the persevering, you have openend Alladin's magic cave.
