Nobody Listens 2 (The Other Side Of The Coin) - Poem by Dave Alan Walker

They fight and they fight
for their innocence
and their right
but nobody listens
to their plight

These are the jailed
innocent ones
jailed for crimes
they did not commit

They can't have their freedom
they can't have their rights
because nobody listens

Nobody listens

The last line is simple, and haunting, so many people suffer who have know one to hear or refuse to. Some times where to busy to condemn people before we even know if they have committed a crime or not. Thanks far sharing Mr Walker (Report) Reply

Very good. i can see the humanity in your lines. You know dear Dave, the problem that sometimes happens for us is because of lack of listeners. if we had people to listen to our words, and think about them as meditations, for sure we would have better feelings and condition, yeah, there are people who are innocent but no one listens to their speeches about the truth, so the truth will stay hidden.
    well done man (Report) Reply
