Nobody Is Safe Nowadays Poem by Hebert Logerie

Nobody Is Safe Nowadays

Babies are thrown out of the windows
Isis and others are killing victims kneeling in rows
Nobody is safe and secured nowadays.

On a daily basis, cops are killing civilians
People are afraid to walk in their own kitchens
Nobody can claim to be safe or secured these days.

Armed thugs and criminals are roaming the streets
Who will disarm those bastards, when police officers
Are behaving like bandits, like mad gangsters
Are there decent and sensible cops walking the beats?

No answer, no response, nobody seems to care
Nobody is watching the babies in the daycare
Blood is everywhere on the patio, in the gutters
No one is safe, even the good cops and the soldiers.
