Like white sands so pristine
That await the blue waves' kiss,
My heart so yearns within
Waiting for the one I miss.

Warm as the touch of sunlight
Soft as caressing breeze,
Randomly bringing such delight-
For my thoughts, you always seize.

You're the one that I'll wait for
Treasured always in this heart,
Ne'er knew love as this before
So near even though we're apart.

Years come closing on us, it's true,
Soon leaves will turn red and amber,
But I'll be right here waiting for you-
Together, we'll have no winter.
