No War Poem by joe foster

No War

Tense relations between two nations,
depth to sharp and deep,
listening to them on both stations.
the need to solve the problem,
no bombs needed,
no more deaths,
sitting in hope,
they let it rest.
tensions rising,
arriving home,
citizens think its so surprising,
no more war,
go home,
pick up the phone,
change the tone,
we don't need war.
whats in store for our children?
to many children dying,
mothers crying,
Bring our kids home now!
