No Victory Poem by Walter C. Edwards

No Victory

My time is fleeting so fast,
days go by, just a flash,
my body will lay,
with no DNA passed,
no hope for tomorrow,
such a shame for a life to be,
no triumph, no victory,
daylight comes to soon,
as the blackness to the moon.
