No Universal Moral Poem by Rm. Shanmugam Chettiar

No Universal Moral

The egg is meant for its embryo.
The seed is meant for its embryo.
The flower is meant for fruiting.
The milk is meant for its calf.
Honey is meant for its worms.
We consume them and destroy their lives.
Is there any universal moral?

as you already know the answer, what is there to elaborate... We consume them and destroy their lives. Is there any universal moral? Do you think that living things would breathe the air and be alive? how peaceful it would be! we don't have to work this hard to bring food on our tables.. Thank you for the thought provoking poem..
