No Time To Fake Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

No Time To Fake

Faked?
My abilities and deeds,
You believe has been faked?
I have yet to admit,
All things I am familiar with.
And with 'whom' I have initiated a process.

Faked?
I feel like a child beginning to learn how to walk.
And you believe my efforts taken have been faked?
Are you saying that just to ignite,
The depths of my greatness?
Or...
Are you hoping someone will validate,
More of a perceived ego...
I have yet to publicly admit?

Either way,
I have had no time to fake!
I have enough on my plate as it is!
