~no Tears~ Poem by Amanda Seltrecht

~no Tears~

Rating: 5.0

she hides under covers afraid of the dark
shadows on the wall such a lasting mark
she tries to be brave and sheds no tear
Look inside you see nothing but fear
The things she has seen she locks inside
Forever she'll keep, live with, and abide
Every dream has a vison
what you see is lifes illusion
Frightened and scared of the monsterous thought
Running away so she'll never get caught
she heard the sounds of piercing screams
Absolute sacrifice that is supreme
Forever silenced while nothing can be done
Hiding the pain yet she hasn't won
Thoughts of bad memories ran though her head
Alone and confused in her heart stony spread
In her life she has a lot to gain
Things pass but there is still pain
Look inside her soul you shall see all her fears
But look into her eyes there are no tears

This poem has a great two line ending. It also has a good beginning. This makes it a good poem. The story is a good one. Well presented. GW62
