No Survivors Poem by Victor Cruickshank

No Survivors

'For it is appointed unto man to die once and after that judgment'
And on that Day of Judgment, man will stand and receive criticism without argument
Man will look at his actions on the wall
He will stand and see his fall
That day there will be no sun.
And then kids will have no fun
When darkness descend upon the earth
Then all the earth will know death
The rude king, proud and wicked
Won't be proud or pitied
For there is a day to be born and one to die and
That day to die is just at hand
The Duke won't have a chance to gamble
For he will wish to stumble
The King of Eggs will lose this time
And his loss will cost him a lifetime
And the dead will laugh at the living
And say ''Tis your turn to be screamin' '
