No Separate Ways Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

No Separate Ways

Rating: 4.8

We can’t have separate way
Wise men always preferred to say
what else can be good in a day?
When everybody has to earn and dearly pay

How come relation turns suddenly sour?
Why difficulties from all the directions pour?
Fault can ever be mine or yours
why life journey can be turned into bad tour?

I am your better half,
Don’t treat me as small calf,
I can be your inspiration and strength,
Prepared to share and go to any length,

We have turned hell into heaven,
All odds converted into even,
It is time now to reap the fruit,
Suddenly it may turn into flames and glut,

Why I am left alone for a while?
When I was prepared to go an extra mile,
Worries on face still wore deserted smile,
Stayed at home but not in exile,

I shall serve you to the end,
Golden opportunity God has sent,
Never disrespect and always mend,
Advise others with appeal as friend

Let us prove and show we are ideal couple,
Our world doesn't stand on sand or rubble,
We can build not castle but at least simple nest,
Lead the life simple and always the best,

I shall remain always yours and holy,
No mistakes on my part or committing folly,
Dedicated and devoted still not owned as wholly,
Never consider me stupid or silly?

Don’t ruin it ever it for simple reason,
autumn may come and pass off like any other season,
Let us bury the past and have fresh start,
resolve to remain together and never to part
