I'm always saying the wrong things,
I try to say what I'm feeling.
And I always speak the truth to you,
I love and respect you enough to try not to lie.

But when I really try to express myself,
I over think things. and it always comes out wrong.
My writing tells the truth,
And you deserve absolute honesty.


I hate the way you're not here,
I hate the way you can't help these tears.
I wish I could hold you in my arms,
I wish I could see your eyes when you smile.

The only thing I want is to make you smile.
I'd do anything for you. You know that right?
I'd do anything to see those gorgeous eyes light up.
I'd do anything you'd ask that is within my power to give.

Baby, I love you. And I don't know how else to say it.
You're my firecracker. You keep me going forward.
You're the light I look for each day so you can keep my day bright.
But every night is only filled with darkness.

See, you're my bright light. You're what keeps my darkness at bay.
It's like you're the moon, and I'm the dark sky.
Without you, I'm just a vast, empty space.
