No One Felt With Me Poem by BRENDA KANSHABE TUMUSHABE

No One Felt With Me

No one seemed to know
how i felt after your departure
gone and forever

when you called it quits
leaving thee in tears
eyelashes soaked
rivers of tears flowing down cheeks
enough to fill an ocean

the i shared all i had with
our blood flowed in the same blood vessels
mmh only that pool's water know the truth
he said, `Don't cry 'girl.`
`It's what you deserve, feel it.`
when he got out of the gate
and said, `GHoodbye.`

We were for each other
leaning on each other
but in a flash, a blink of an eye
you called it quits an never minded
felt it alone, no one felt with me

thanks for the lesson well taught
i know one day, i'll carry on
i be strong enough
and 'll laugh at you
as you cry for me to receive you.

Very hard to walk in ones shoes at a time of death, no matter how hard tried. Feel the emotion simply just in your title. Thank You Brenda
