Nala, prince and Damayanthi, princess
Did not fall in love for each other
At first sight and rather without seeing
Each other, they built up love to seek hand,
Thanks to the divine swan, who made it work.
She told Damayanthi the best version
Of Nala and made her move towards him.
Then she told Nala the best version
Of Damayanthi and made him love her.
Match makers do now what the swan did then.
They connect the pair and see that they love.
And promote arranged love for marriages.
No more love at first sight in the offing.
No spontaneity in love is envisaged.
