No More Doubt Poem by Edwina Reizer

No More Doubt

There was a priest who asked a man
what he prayed about.
“What I pray Father every single day
is why I still have doubt? ”

Answered the priest, “Doubt about what,
what is it you don’t believe? ”
“That Adam volunteered one of his ribs
to create a woman like Eve.”

The priest replied, “You must have faith
and the doubt will go away.”
The man went to the doctor for surgery
and had a rib cut out the next day.
