No Military Band
As soft as a beavers back,
tough as tug boat.
His army was under attack,
the general took a vote.
Only a soft general would take a vote,
but the result would stand.
The general stood, in his long red coat.
ready to give the command.
As the vote was for peace,
the general could understand.
His army he would have to release,
there would be no military band.
