No Lullaby But A Poem Poem by Oscar Ken Elias

No Lullaby But A Poem

I am sudden to imagine to thee
While I lay moaning in the bed;
Dreaming bliss for the nights setting me free
By gazing the stars that hath spread.

Techno seems to give love from far away,
For miles my love is flowing
To the hot summer days and cold nights of May
And sad wind that is blowing.

Many nights you were not there
That brought me down to the ground;
I waited for the time I could not bear
That summons loneliness but never frown.

Wishful thinking beyond the break of dawn
Till' my eyes shut and the dreams were all gone.
