No Land Is... Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

No land is holier than motherland
Where treatment meted out is same for the foe and friend
It is sacred duty on our part to protect integrity
“Love thee and holy mother is same” said almighty

The land should be made safe to live in
There has to be no bitterness to bring in
No caste, color or religion should have any claim
No son of the soil may bring slur on the fair name do

The mountain may have high peak
But we shall stand high with honor and feel no weak
The national honor shall be placed above all
The body and wealth shall be placed at service with rapid call

I dream of such land where nature reigns supreme
The golden sun rays are falling in the form of beam
We shall sacrifice the life to protect the frontiers
We shall also seek and work as peace keepers

India had been known as golden bird
The world depended on moral values and looked forward
We shall continue to strive for universal brotherhood
Total peace and firm commitment also in neighborhood
