No Hope Left Poem by Chant Gud

No Hope Left

Rating: 5.0

It's back again,
The bars of doom,
Unbreakable yet fragile
Trapped inside to no end,

There's no life here,
I'm alone, always alone,
The light breaks through
A small crack,

Desperation reaches out,
Only to find my fear intact,
Water droplets fall,
Landing on the cold cold floor,

When hope turns to ashes,
Faith seems outstretched,
Trust fades into oblivion,
There's nothing left,

Echoes fill the air,
Chills run down my spine,
My body craves wanting
To let go and surrender,

When hope turns to ashes,
Faith seems outstretched,
Trust fades into oblivion,
There's nothing left,

My fight is over,
I've given up,
My strength disintergrated,
Hope is now gone,
