No Good In Solitude Poem by Sandra Feldman

No Good In Solitude

Rating: 5.0

As Sadness reigns forevermore,
There's no one knocking at my door,
Oh Solitude greatest of pains,
You swallow tears and all in vain,
The emptiness that never fills,
The body, mind that slowly chills,
And Life just looks the other way,
As Solitude is here to stay.

Excellent Sandra - you have said it all here, and beautifully so.

What a lovely poem you have written, what a lovely song you've sung! When a bard writes and a bird sings like this, it crosses the continents and reaches me, touches me! Every line of it touched me deep. 'The emptiness that never fills, The body, mind that slowly chills, And Life just looks the other way, As Solitude is here to stay.' - I have lost count of how many times I've recited this! Magnificent, simply told. 10/10 for this.

Heartfelt words Sandra expressed so beautifully. Loneliness is there for so many. Perhaps with more promotions on meeting groups would prevent this. Please remember how many hearts you fill with all of your wonderful words. How lonely we would feel without those words. Great words and keep smiling x
