On the day of your birth
Could be considered a
Flight
As you begin the interesting journey
of what we know
As Life
There are highs
Also lows,
An assortment
Of challenges
Battles
You may fight
At times
The circumstances
Appears to linger
Most of the day and
All of the night
Yet, you walk through
The obstacles
Making worries straddle
Now that's victory
In the battle
Then there are the things
Which brings pure delight
We call it
Success
After the plight
