Nirvana Of A Stone Poem by Jyotishman Debnath

Nirvana Of A Stone

Rating: 0.5

Nirvana of A Rolling stone...
Malicious words
and thoughts
Everything was coming towards

Words Pain Words
Thoughts Pain Thoughts
Some silence; a dose of sedative

Fall and Rise
Rise and Fall

Summary of Life
===================

My olive green shirt had two pockets
left one to give, right one to take
there was a hole in one
confusing me about the counts
'give and take of life'
result unknown.
Yesterday night I have stiched the hole
Counting no more.

I would rather take measurements
of my emotion, love, desire
then heart, eyes and brain
did they fit?
result unknown.
Asking no more.

I traveled wearing that faded shirt
counting weights in vacuum
nomadic were my thoughts
nowhere was my heart
Traveling no more.

I waited like a stone in the river bank
let her touch my face
after each rain.
let her take me towards the sea
let me drawn
O' river you didn't
and waiting no more.

I pressed my lips against the golden moon
and started walking down the hill
Yesterday night I finished all my quest
and just walked away from myself!
