Nightmare Poem by Morgan Stanton

Nightmare

The lonely house whispers a welcome
Swallows me into the suffocating shadows
Welcome home
It’s the result of teenage love
Captivating your mind
Begs and apologizes fill the shoebox room
Decline and reject fight it back
Pain and force then follows
Fear protects
Never ending nightmare haunts you
The Ghost follows you to the dark
Waits until It gets the chance
Goodbye home
