Nightmare Poem by tijan jonas kah

Nightmare

I see everything going on, murders, evictions, prostitution and poverty
Feeling the pain, right from my heart, to my brain
People watching there back always on guard
Don't know when someone's going to attack,
don't know when there going to have to fight back,
No one there to care, or attend, people just trying to defend
For themselves, for there families, minors carrying knives and guns
There's drug dealings, peoples messing with other peoples feelings
Muggings regularly, thugs high on drugs
Peoples getting stabbed or shot, for a blackberry
Peoples round here have the lost the plot
Blood everywhere, paramedics on scene
Suspects acting innocent to keep themselves clean
These streets are mean, homeless people lying around scrounging
Eating food that there don't know where it's been
Diseases and infections, thugs taking injections
Parents in a panic can't cope with this life of no hope, murders and dope, turned to drugs, just so there can hide for away, but then there sober up, this nightmare never goes away.
