Nightfall Poem by Tiffany Rose Moczydlowski

Nightfall

Rating: 5.0

Feeling contained within these four walls
I have to leave...
Tiptoeing outside
I've never felt so alive
I stand, soaking up the scenery
Bathing in the glowing moonlight
I gaze up, staring at the twinkling stars
Thankful for the cool air on my skin
I finally feel free
Finally at peace
Out here in the stillness of the dark
The owls hoot quietly
Snow sparkles on the ground
I breathe in the cool crisp air
Filling my lungs with the sweet aroma of pine
It feels like a dream
Amazing, beautiful, peaceful
I never have felt so alive

Nice.......What drudgery had you to escape, that gave reason for you to feel so alive? the four walls?
