Night Of The Flying Sky Poem by Sky McCoy

Night Of The Flying Sky

Soaring away on my fairytale wings
Forgetful of so many horrible things
My angelic wings spread open so wide
There's no telling how long I will fly and why
The soft wind against my face blows away all tears
Flying the way I am removes my worst fears
Listening to the soft melody of the words I hum and sing
I will soon take away the nightmares and replace them with happy dreams
Flying in the beautiful clear night sky never brings me down
The fears and pains of everyday life grow so horrid and profound
As each and every thought reaches my head
I remove the pain and sorrow of the earth just as I have said
One wave from my hand takes away one hundred tears
Beauty replaces the falling drops, enough to last more than 100 years
One pluck of my hair drops to the ground
Landing on a head of knowledge enough to drown
One clinch of my fist wrings out the anger and hatred
Replaced with purity and happiness enough to taste it
One blink of my eye changes a disturbed soul into a pure heart
With my passion I am changing the world but have yet to start
Stop forcing your pain and stop hurting others
Those without a pure soul will face the wrath and the thunder
Anyone can change the world if you simply give it a try
One good deed will turn you into an angel in the night of the flying sky
