Night Life Poem by David Pyrs

Night Life

Rating: 5.0

I ride the night all by myself
With only the stars to guide me through
I dim the lights and call the dark

To see the stars shine through

I think of you all by myself
An endless mind only for you

It feels my heart with heated joy
And makes the darkness cry from above

So I do ride, every night
To catch a glimpse of your veil

Only to watch the curtain… move aside
And show your beauty you keep inside

Every night I ride into the night
And watch the universe unfold its light

Every night I seek the love that has been left behind
