Night And Day I Slumber Poem by Kat Hanlon

Night And Day I Slumber

Rating: 5.0

Night and day I slumber
Night and day I slumber
Then spring will come and I will awake
I will awake to find my love
My love and will dance beneath the summer sun's blaze
That has golden rays of light that so blinding and bright
But then my love will run away
I will be left alone
The vibrant colors in me will fall like November leaves
Leaving one so cold as if they can be grey for a winter day
I then will become like December trees
That are so naked and hollow
I will close my eyes and fall into a deep slumber
And then I would a wait
So night and day I wait in slumber
Night and day I slumber
Night and day I slumber
To be awaken again
To see him once again
