Night And Day Poem by Jojoba Mansell

Night And Day

The moon dusts the earth with silver,
stars illuminate the scene.
Wind whispers through the branches,
while we lay asleep and dream.

The temperature is dropping,
icy fingers paint with frost.
Coating window panes with diamonds,
under rhinestones the grass is lost.

Slowly sun is rising,
breathing warmth onto the land.
Frost and ice retreating,
just as Mother Nature planned.

Sun takes it place,
radiates with light.
Dreamers waking from their sleep,
bid farewell to another night.
