New York City-Part One Poem by Romeo Della Valle

New York City-Part One

Rating: 5.0

It comes daily
Not always on Sunday,
Sometimes not at all
Or gets lost
Returning too late
For what it's worth
In the past tense...

Passing from hand to hand
Another transfer
Identification
Always upon request
Pictures, please!
And a signature...!

Point of departure
And destination,
Must be linked
With reference
To validate
Authenticity...

Otherwise,
It is trash-junk mail,
A nuisance...
Soliciting people
Who have only real time
Real names-real paychecks...

A fine description of a busiest city I dream all the time, the people day to day events you described well and it's a real map drawn well. Many thanks indeed for your valuable comment on my poem 'Blood is thicker than water' my blood brother!
