New York Poem by Govind Ramakrishnan

New York

Rating: 3.5

From this point
In man-made
Central Park,
The magnificent skyline
Offers a stark
Souvenir of human potential

An aspiration city
Attracting
Amazing diversity
Down to its roots,

Making those
Who step here
Feel like
Pieces of a jig-saw,
Fusing to form
A unique melting pot

This
My home-town
New York!
