BONG! At midnight tonight there'll be cheering
BONG! And singing of Auld Land Syne,
BONG! Text messages sent in their millions
BONG! And hands raising whisky and wine,
BONG! And people all over the country
BONG! Will tune in to BBC1,
BONG! And in everyone's head even if they're in bed
BONG! There's a party going on,
BONG! And foghorns will sound on the Mersey
BONG! And fireworks will dazzle and fall,
BONG! They're saying farewell to 2012
BONG! And a Happy New Year to us all.
