New Year (नया साल)
नया साल
ये किसकी आहटे हैं ये किसकी दस्तके हैं
महमाँ ये कौन है जो सबको लुभा रहा है
चिमनी से ये निकलता- कोहरा है जो धुऐं का
पीछे खड़ा है इसके नया साल जिन्दगी का ।
खिड़की के पट पे चन्दा यूं झिलमिला रहा है
आते हुऐ समय की राहें सजा रहा है
कजरारे बादलों से सन्देसा अा रहा है
थमता नही थमाये नया साल आ रहा है ।
पेड़ो की डालियों पर लड़ियां तुषार की हैं
िकृसमस की रौशनी में झिलमिल चमक रही हैं
हौली की झाड़ियों पर ये आफताबी गुच्छे
स्वागत में ज्यों किसी के मोती टंगे हुऐ हैं ।
ये शबनमी फिजा है और सर्द हैं हवायें
सपनो भरी नशीली है रात भी रंगीली
बर्फीली चादरों में अगंड़ाइ ले रहा है
थमता नही थमाये नया साल आ रहा है ।
ओढ़ी थी जिसने कल तक इक चुनरी धानी रंग की
श्वेताम्बरी बनी है वसुधा शरत िऋतु की
ये आिशयां सजा है नये साल की खुशी में
ऐै जश्न करने वालो पीछे तो मुड़ के देखो
एक साल जिन्दगी का चुपके से जा रहा है ।
थमता नही थमाये नया साल आ रहा है ।
नया साल अाप सबको शुभ हो ।

Odhi thi jisne kal tak ik chunri dhani rang ki Shwetambri bani hay vasudha sharad ritu ki Yeh aashian saja hay naye sal ki khushi hay Aiy jashn karne wale peeche to mud ke dekho Ek sal zindigi ka chupke se ja raha hay Thamta nahin yhamaye neya sal aa raha hay It's a sangam of beauty in the Ganga Jamni language I can see Sarawati hidden in the heart of the poetess that has silently entered in the union of Ganga and Jamna making this poem a Prayag. There are snow flakes on branches of tree on this morning of New Year. Wonderful presentation makes thsi poem definitely special.
