New Year 2010

Hearts full of joy and bliss within,
Hopes and dreams sprout to begin,
Resolutions and promise made,
Till all shall fade.

2009 will soon come to an end,
Whilst 2010 will give its beginning,
Let’s take this year optimistically,
Wish and pray for triumph and reliability,
Extend a hand to the deprived.

Feel the brooks gentle breeze,
See the calmness of the blue skies,
Feel the love of the singing birds in the trees,
Yield to the beloveds love,
Reconcile one to another,
Walk hand in hand through the year.

Forget and forgive the past,
Remember the present,
Live in peace and harmony,
Comprehend and reckon.

Give hope to others,
Pick up opportunities, but don’t conclude,
Abandon the old and keep the new,
Correct our wrongs, with inspiring loving songs,
Trade all our sorrows,
Trade all our pains,
For the joy of the Lord!
