New Life
The tree
I see
Is left
With one leaf.
It's fall
Fall it must
Every leaf
Found its way.
Leaf's alone
Not so
It has company
The tree.
Leaf or
The tree
It's hard
To be alone.
Fallen leaf
Gets absorbed
Into nature's
Soil.
It will be
Nutrition
For the tree
To live.
Tree will
Await the spring
For new leaves
New life.
As the trees await new life and new leaves, we all await a new life after the terminal winter of life! A timely write at the onset of winter!
