Neverland Poem by Tsunami HiroshiSu

Neverland

Rating: 5.0

He alighted on my window sill
It's how it all began
Fly up into the sky
The second star to the right
Shooting past in liquid streaks of light
Take me to
Neverland
Together we'll play
In paradise
Fight pirates with me
Swim with mermaids
We will
Just as we did when we were children
Soar up in the clouds
Dodging cannon balls
Save me with kisses
Shower me in fairy dust
We'll always miss our mothers
But who would want to leave
Neverland?
We play with the Indians
We taunt the crocodile
There is betrayal
Adventure
Mischief
Plummeting
Soaring
Flying
Onward
Upward
Tinkling bells always near us
Rushing wind at our backs
We make maps
Follow them to treasure
We save each other
She drank it for you
You believed in her
You caught me
And when it was all over
You took me home
I watched you sail by in your ship of clouds
And I never forgot
Neverland
But none of us can escape growing up
And why should we?
For there are those who never had the chance
Those who live forever in
Neverland
